Meet Jim Elliot: Passion and Purpose.

This young Oregonian was a student of Greek, a college wrestling champion, and an outstanding speaker—a man with a burning passion to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jim Elliot’s aspirations took him to the unreached—and seemingly unreachable—Auca tribe in the jungles of Ecuador.

When the primitive people attacked and killed Elliot and his four companions, it appeared their mission had failed. But in time, God would use the men’s sacrifice to bring many Aucas to faith—and encourage other Americans to go to other mission fields.

His dramatic story will challenge you to follow the apostle Paul’s words in Romans 12:1: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
